Privacy policy
How Varin Group of Institutions handles the details you share with us when you enquire about admission. Last updated: October 2026.
Who we are
Varin Group of Institutions (Varin International Residential School, Varin PU College and Varin Degree College), run by VIRAT Trust, Doddahosur Gate, Kunigal Road, Gulur Post, Tumakuru, Karnataka 572118. Contact: info@varininstitutions.org, 99000 42015.
What we collect
When you send an admission enquiry, call or message us, we collect the details you give us: parent or guardian name, mobile number, the programme and class you are interested in, day scholar or boarding preference, town or village, transport need, preferred visit date and any message. We also record how you found us (for example, the advertisement or page you came from). We do not ask for Aadhaar, marks cards or payment details in an enquiry.
Why we use it
- To call or WhatsApp you about your enquiry, share information and arrange a campus visit.
- To guide you through the admission process if you choose to apply.
- To understand which of our communications are useful, so we can improve them.
Who can see it
Only Varin's admissions team and the staff who handle your enquiry. Enquiries are stored in the institution's Google Workspace account. We do not sell or share your details with other organisations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details until the end of the admission season they relate to. If your child does not join, we then delete them or keep them only in a form that no longer identifies you. If your child joins, the details become part of the student's admission record.
Your choices
- You can ask us to stop calling or messaging you at any time — reply STOP on WhatsApp or tell the admissions team.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you by writing to info@varininstitutions.org.
Cookies and analytics
Our website may use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to measure visits and the performance of our advertisements. These tools use cookies and similar technologies. They do not give us your name or phone number.
Children's information
Admission enquiries should be made by a parent or guardian. Details about a child that are needed for admission are collected from the parent or guardian.
Changes
We may update this policy, for example to reflect India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules. The date at the top shows the latest version.
